(http://www.lifeclinic.com/index.aspx), the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of automated blood pressure monitors and health testing stations and its strategic partner, CBS Outernet (http://www.cbsouternet.com), a leading provider of customized digital media networks to retail locations, have created a "Wellness Channel" for retail pharmacies. They will be showcasing their technologies at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Marketplace Conference (http://meetings.nacds.org/marketplace/2008/). The Conference will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, June 28 - July 1, 2008. Lifeclinic and CBS Outernet will be located at booth #1423.

Lifeclinic will also demonstrate its ability to connect via the Internet to a retailer's Web site or to http://www.lifeclinic.com its LC600 (http://www.lifeclinic.com/lc600.aspx) and LC500 (http://www.lifeclinic.com/lc500.aspx) health stations in pharmacies nationwide, providing retail customers with automated measurement of blood pressure, weight, body fat, BMI and blood oxygen tests as well as glucose meter upload capability. IR (infrared) and USB ports enable interfacing with various personal health devices including pedometers. Optional features include both a magnetic stripe and barcode reader for customer loyalty card programs and product information. CBS Outernet will showcase its digital video screens that are found in and around pharmacy areas that will provide shoppers with relevant health-related information and advertising and educate them about the functions of Lifeclinic's health station. The separate screens as well as the user interface screen on the LC600 create a Wellness Channel branded for specific pharmacies.

Along with Lifeclinic and CBS Outernet highlighting their blend of comprehensive programs that combines state-of-the-art hardware, software and value-added services, all designed to increase retail profits by building consumer loyalty and enhancing current and future revenue streams, they will be hosting the "Walking the Walk Wellness Challenge." Lifeclinic has provided 950 SportBrain pedometers which will be distributed at the NACDS registration counter to all retailer attendees. Retailers will be encouraged to begin wearing the pedometer immediately so as to accumulate as many steps as possible during the Conference. As retailers stop by Lifeclinic's booth, #1423, they will be able to register, upload their pedometer data through a Lifeclinic Health Station, see their results posted on a "Leader Board," and compare themselves to their colleagues in the industry. The "Top Stepper" will receive a Lifeclinic LC500 health station valued at about $9,000 for his or her company's employee wellness program. First, second and third place runners-up will receive valuable certificates good for the latest in electronic gadgetry.

Lifeclinic Senior Vice President David Read says, "The challenge is intended to illustrate the value of moderate exercise through regular daily activities and its positive impact on individual health. Most people associate exercise with a trip to the local health club -- something many people just don't do -- but we can make significant health strides by being physically active in our daily lives outside of the gym. When people are given the ability to track and manage their own vital statistics, they get a visual picture of the immediate impact various non-gym related activities can have on their health. Simple activities, like walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator or doing a few sit-ups over the lunch break, are essential to sustaining long-term success. Most of the major pharmacy retailers have our blood pressure monitors for use by their customers. We want to remind pharmacy executives that they should be using our monitors in wellness programs for their employees -- and for their customers."

I Have Bought Numerous Stationery Exercise Bikes But Lack The Will Power To Keep Using Them
There are many people who like to do their exercise routines at home. For a long time, stationary exercise bikes were the most common type of exercise equipment you would find in anyone?s home. For the most part, this is still true. Though there are many more advanced types of exercise equipment out there, most people still like the simplicity and ease of using an exercise bike. If they aren?t using one, chances are good that you will find one in their attic or their basement collecting dust.
